Luxury Living & Dining Halls Interior Design

Most homes get one main reception space. This residence has two, each with its own personality. One hall is warm, layered, and made for long evenings with family and guests. The other is bright, white, and sculptural, built around carved walls and clean lines. Both are tied together by high ceilings, generous windows, and a consistent standard of detailing.

Two Halls, Two Characters

The first hall works in taupe, cream, cocoa, and gold. Rounded armchairs with textured backs, deep sofas, and marble tables create a space that feels generous and social. The second hall is almost entirely white and pale grey, with oak accents softening the cool palette. Between them, the home gains a place for relaxed gatherings and a place for formal hosting, without either feeling like the secondary option.

Ceilings That Frame the Space

In the warm hall, stepped ceiling trays with concealed warm lighting and slim black tracks give the room a layered, architectural top. A sweeping gold ribbon chandelier hangs over the main seating group, and a sculptural white glass pendant, shaped like branching coral, defines the TV lounge. Over the dining table, three textured pendants in a pebble form add a softer, organic note. In the white hall, the ceiling is kept simple, with recessed spotlights and linear tracks, so the walls get the attention.

A Sculptural Leaf Wall in the White Hall

The signature of the white hall is a floor-to-ceiling relief of oversized tropical leaves, carved in a single tone of white so the pattern appears through light and shadow. A hidden LED line along its edge brings out the carving in the evening. Nearby, a second wall of soft wave-shaped relief panels adds a calmer, flowing counterpoint. In the dining zone, a palm-frond mural in pale grey wraps the sideboard wall and links the room to the carved leaves.

An Entrance That Prepares the Eye

A double-height entrance area leads into the white hall, with tall white panelling, a black steel-framed window, a floating console with sculptural accents, and a mirror panel. It gives the visitor a bright first impression before the carved leaf wall comes into view.

A Home With Room for Every Kind of Gathering

This project shows how one residence can support a warm family atmosphere and a bright formal one at once. For homeowners across Dubai and the UAE planning multiple living and dining spaces, it reflects Domora's ability to give each room its own identity while keeping the overall design cohesive.

Textured Walls in the Warm Hall

Tall panels in a stone-like finish, separated by slim lines of light, line the formal seating area and dining zone. In the TV lounge, a plaster-textured wall meets a fluted panel with an LED edge, and a tall oak bookcase with lit shelves holds books and ceramics. The mix of rough plaster, fine flutes, and warm oak gives the room depth without adding colour.

Fireplace and Media Wall as One Composition

In the white hall, a long linear fireplace sits under the wall-mounted television on a grey stone base that spans the wall. A soft LED strip runs above it. The television, the flame, and the panelling read as one clean wall, so the room avoids competing focal points.

Two Dining Rooms, Two Tables

The warm hall's dining area has a marble-topped table with taupe chairs on slim brass legs, under the pebble pendants. The white hall's dining table has a marble top edged in gold and a solid marble base, surrounded by grey bouclé chairs with bronze frames, set against the palm mural. Each dining room carries its hall's palette, so the transition from sitting to dining feels natural.

Furniture That Defines Each Mood

In the warm hall, taupe barrel armchairs with textured, hammered-look backs face deep cream sofas around a marble block table with gold veining. Smaller side tables in copper-toned trays and a plush cocoa velvet pouf soften the layout. In the white hall, long light-grey sofas sit around sets of nesting tables in oak and grey, which can be pulled apart or pushed together for different gatherings. Dark grey bouclé chairs by the entrance add contrast to the pale space.

Planning Behind Two Connected Halls

Two halls with different finishes still need to feel like one home. The design coordinated the floor, ceiling, lighting circuits, wall panelling, and joinery so the change of palette feels intentional. The relief walls in particular need careful planning of scale and detail at full height. As with every Domora project, design, engineering, and execution are treated as one connected process.

Rugs and Floors That Tie It Together

Polished white marble runs through both halls. In the warm hall, grey rugs with flowing patterns define the seating zones. In the white hall, a carved white rug with swirling lines echoes the wall reliefs, which links the floor and the walls.

Layered Curtains for Light Control

Floor-to-ceiling linen curtains in warm taupe and sheer layers frame the large windows in the warm hall. In the white hall, softer grey drapes and sheers do the same. Both let in daylight while giving privacy when needed, and they make the high ceilings look even taller.
